The crux isn’t on the rock right now. It’s in the execution.

Published Wednesday — because life showed up first.

Monday Momentum · Week 4, Q2 2026

Monday Momentum lands on Wednesday this week. Not because the system failed — because the system worked. It recognised that some things come before the publish button.

My dad had an accident over the bank holiday weekend. Nothing I want to detail here, but enough to pull everything else into perspective and into second place. My eldest daughter was with us too — which turned what could have been a hard few days into something unexpectedly full. Family, presence, the kind of hours you don’t plan but you remember.

That’s the honest reason for the delay. I’ll take it.

Now — where are we.

I’m waiting for my shoulder scan before I commit fully to climbing again. Until that result lands, I’m training around it: running, cycling, staying sharp, staying patient. Every serious climber knows this moment — the one where the body asks you to slow down and the mind insists it knows better. I’m listening to the body this time. Maybe…

The irony isn’t lost on me. I wrote last month that I’m targeting 8a in business while I’m climbing 6c on rock. Right now the rock is on hold. The business is not.

And that’s where the crux actually is — not on any face in the Dolomites, but right here, in the week, in the execution. The moves I need to stick this quarter aren’t technical. They’re about showing up consistently when there’s noise, when life adds unplanned weight to the harness, when the temptation is to rest on the ledge a little longer than necessary.

Week 4 has a clear agenda. Fab Campaigns stays the priority — proposals in motion, content live, pipeline moving. Imprese Favolose gets its statuto finalised — that one has been sitting at the crux hold too long. Smart Mountains restarts — the local model gets its first real test this week, and the team gets a signal that we’re back in motion. And through all of it: my family gets the presence they deserve, not the leftover version.

A lot of possibilities. A lot of challenges. And — genuinely — a lot of good life. The scan will come back. The shoulder will tell me what it needs. The rock will be there.

In the meantime, the route I’m on demands full attention. Both hands on the wall.

Let’s build together.
