The work nobody sees.

Monday Momentum — December 9, 2025

This weekend was all foundation: restructuring Fab Rides from commercial tours toward community cultivation. Building the family digital hub at deliberali.com. Preparing coaching infrastructure. Clarifying calendars. Revising 2026 opportunities and priorities.

None of it visible. All of it essential.

I’ve been thinking about how much meaningful work happens in these unglamorous layers. The partnership frameworks nobody reads until they need them. The geographic focus decisions that determine which opportunities you’ll even see. The digital infrastructure that protects what matters while enabling what’s next.

This week I’m committing to four deliverables:

  1. Critical infrastructure monitoring – advancing conversations in the UK and progressing the partnership discussions.
  2. CC — finish 2025 deliverables and get stakeholder agreement on 2026 priorities
  3. SM — advance testing sites pipeline, review the shareholders deck
  4. Fab’s Friday Field Notes — building on the “adventures start at home” piece, drawing from this weekend’s important moments, the next climbs and the London visit this week.

The bigger question I’m sitting with: geographic focus. I’ve been mapping where meaningful partnerships will be built over the next decade: Canada, Nordics, Japan. Countries where environment, governance, data privacy, and critical infrastructure intersect. Where mountain territories meet technology systems.

What does it mean to focus here rather than everywhere? What partnerships does it enable? What does it force me to decline? The Alps have my heart—but if the momentum is elsewhere, that’s where my energy will follow. The question isn’t whether I want to build there. It’s whether they’re ready to build with me.

The Christmas break—ski touring in Valtellina and the Dolomites—will give me space to think this through properly. Mountains have a way of clarifying what matters.

But this week: execution mode. Finish what needs finishing. Deliver what I’ve committed to deliver.

Your turn: What invisible infrastructure are you building right now? What foundation work is enabling your next phase?
